Our long term search interest centers on understanding the role of innate immunity in defense against pathogen as well as dissecting the mechanisms of diseases caused by dysregulation of innate immunity. We focus on the regulation of innate immunity by nucleic acid metabolism, which involves nucleic acid sensing and is closely related to immunodeficiency and autoimmunity as well as other diseases.
